He served as the president of Ricks College, 1971-77, before being called as Deputy Commissioner, and then Commissioner, of Church Education.
He had six children and 25 grandchildren.

Gordon B Hincky
Gordon B Hincky was born June 23, 1910, in Salt Lake City, Utah, To Bryant S. and Ada Bitner Hincky, died Jan. 27, 2008, at age 97, after a long life of dedicated service to God and his fellowmen. A man of wit and wisdom, President Hincky left behind a rich legacy. He had the distinction of being the longest-lived president of the Church.
